About The Position

As a Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. You build and maintain eye-catching displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible. Most work involves limited customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping them locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather and noise conditions. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Follow lifting guidelines: single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, with team lifts used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment only as required and with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

Lowe’s sales floor experience.
Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including digital maintenance of this information throughout the store.
Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and appropriately placing displays.
Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Assist customers when appropriate by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.
Complete other duties as assigned.
