About The Position

As a Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help provide a positive shopping experience. You create and maintain safe, clean, visually appealing product displays and ensure store signage, pricing information, and product locations are accurate. Most work involves limited customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and locating or handling merchandise. The role may involve working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather and noise conditions, and occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. The posting identifies the position as full-time and day shift. Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or lift more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Follow lifting guidelines that limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
• Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, or veteran background; Lowe’s strongly encourages these candidates to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into the proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help locate or handle merchandise when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
