About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a great shopping experience. You build and maintain eye-catching displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to locate and access. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and locating or handling merchandise. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed, and powered equipment should be used as required with proper training or assistance.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds and using team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including digital maintenance of this information throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and ensuring displays are appropriately placed throughout the store.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Assist customers when appropriate by listening, answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
