About The Position

The Merchandising Service Associate connects Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. The role maintains accurate store signage, pricing information, and displays so customers can locate merchandise easily. Associates build and maintain displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but associates may answer customer questions, provide product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise. The position may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, variable or extreme weather, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, use powered equipment when appropriate, and have proper training or assistance.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Be able to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Be able to sit and stand for long periods.
• Be able to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, or veteran talent is encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Listen and respond to customers, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
