Full Time - Merchandising Service Associate - Day
About The Position
As a Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. You build and maintain eye-catching product displays and implement merchandising strategies. You ensure store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work involves limited customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor environments, varied and extreme weather, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting requirements vary; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, with team lifts used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
- Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Lowe’s sales floor experience.
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
- Bilingual, military, or veteran talent is strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
- Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including digitally maintaining this information throughout the store.
- Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
- Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
- Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
- Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Listen to customers and answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist in locating or handling merchandise when opportunities arise.
