About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You build and maintain displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to locate and access.

Most of the work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping them locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Depending on location, work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying weather, noise, and other environmental conditions. The posting identifies a day schedule and says associates generally keep weekends free, though Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Follow lifting guidelines, which limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
• Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, or veteran background; these candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Stage clearance products, sort products into proper locations, and position displays appropriately to help drive add-on sales.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• When opportunities arise, listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
