About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a great shopping experience. You build and maintain eye-catching displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but associates may be expected to assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting guidelines limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Lowe's sales floor experience.
Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
Bilingual, military, or veteran background; these candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
Confirm product pricing information is visible and replace missing price labels.
Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise when needed.
