About The Position

Kontoor Brands is currently seeking a Merchandising Associate for our Wrangler Men’s Merchandising Team at our Greensboro, NC headquarters. This position reports to the Merchandise Manager and is an integral player on the Wrangler team. This person will partner closely with a variety of individuals on the sales, design, finance, and product development teams to ensure product assortment in customers is successful.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years’ experience in Merchandising field.
  • 1-2 years of operational strategy experience.
  • 2 years’ experience with complex problem solving.
  • Operational Management – Line sheet entry and maintenance, carry-over monitoring.
  • Operational Management – supply chain support and cross-functional partnership.
  • Cross-functional Coordination with Design, PD and Tech.
  • Business analysis - line development and adoption tracking; business tracking and reporting.
  • Brand Coordination (seasonal collaboration on presentation material, on-product ticketing, photoshoots).
  • Support for sell in needs (Samples, Product launch materials).

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and execution of the Wrangler product offering to meet or exceed corporate financial requirements.
  • Line plan management and consolidation: Gathers regional input and aligns the needs and consolidates for the global design team.
  • Takes part in key big idea planning and provides volume estimates for the segment.
  • Reports progress against plans
  • GTM & Line Management: Provides and/or gathers the inputs and outputs that support the GTM calendar at each milestone meeting.
  • Gains a strong understanding of the consumer needs and gathers insights.
  • Tracks sku count, cost targets, and margin expectations
  • Take part in size scale management, Line presentations, submit reviews, Account specific style management along with our open line and PO/PIR/FOB review and approvals
  • Travel from time to time.
  • Maintains and tracks carryover style and life cycle management.
  • Ensures styles are carried forward or dropped as needed.
  • Provides final assortment to Tech, PD, Operations, and sourcing teams along with updates after line cleaning.
  • Creates tools to communicate the styles and shares with brand marketing and design counterparts for photoshoot coordination and hindsight reviews.
  • Tracks and records costing process (target, brief, prototype, bulk samples)
  • Pro-active communication on assortment and product changes.
  • Initiates ticketing needs.
  • Coordinate effectively between Design, PD, and Brand/Marketing partners.
  • Ensure Operations & Sourcing Team is kept informed of all line decisions relevant to the product offer and work together on achieving financial and inventory objectives.
  • Collects sample needs and coordinates sample execution.
