About The Position

The Principal Purpose of the Bag Wrangler is to greet guests with a friendly, lasting first impression. This role involves managing guest arrivals and departures, including valet parking, luggage handling, and providing shuttle services. The Bag Wrangler also plays a part in maintaining the lobby and front entrance, assisting other departments, and ensuring guest satisfaction by being knowledgeable about the Ranch and its services. The position requires flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities.

Requirements

• Work well alone or with other team members
• Professional dress and carry a good attitude
• Be flexible to the needs of the department and the Ranch
• Have ability to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift/carry 50-75 lbs
• Basic computer/email knowledge required
• Has a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate manual, automatic and diesel vehicles
• Minimum of 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Bellman/Valet experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in porte cache
• Open vehicle door for passengers
• Valet park car
• Deliver luggage and vehicle keys to lodge room
• Retrieve vehicles for guests departing and load luggage
• Maintain integrity of front entrance and lobby
• Provide requested shuttle service
• Perform room inspections pre and post arrival
• Follow department and Ranch policies and procedures
• Assist Agents, Reservation Specialists, Night Auditor and PBX Operator
• Answer guest questions
• Be knowledgeable about other departments
• Be aware of guests and Ranch issues
• Assist the General Manager, Lodging Director, and Guest Services Manager
• Complete special projects as requested
