About The Position

The Merchandising and Warehouse Holiday Associate helps deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, loss prevention, safety, and labor standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities include customer service, transaction processing, merchandising, merchandise preparation, store recovery, and supporting shrink-reduction programs. The role also involves working effectively with peers and supervisors and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while embodying customer experience principles and practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
