About The Position

Join NEXCOM for an exciting 18-month project supporting Ecommerce, digital content, and enterprise marketing operations in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This short-term position is benefit eligible.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively use RDW, Quintessence, Microsoft Excel, and Discover for analysis.
  • 3 years general experience which was gained in administrative merchandising technical or other responsible work enabling the applicant to gain knowledge of merchandising and procurement practices skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships and the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • PC based computer internet and on-line navigation.
  • Project management data management and or product and planning.
  • Establishment of relationships with internal and external partners.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of education above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to maximum of a 4 year bachelor s degree for 3 years of general experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Web Store merchandising for assigned departments.
  • Assists the Senior Merchandise Analyst in reviewing and monitoring sales, profits, and inventories to ensure maximum performance for assigned departments.
  • Prepares system reports as needed for review and analysis.
  • Works with Buyers Groups to ensure product imagery, content, and categorization are timely and accurate.
  • Works with Web Producer to onboard new product.
  • Ensures that all SKUs with inventory are available online.
  • Tracks and liaises with merchants on in-stocks.
  • Tracks orders to the fulfillment center to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manages store-to-store transfers as needed.
  • Monitors price changes and ensures all promotional price changes are submitted correctly and on time.
  • Analyzes Web Store performance on promotions.
  • Analyzes item category opportunities.
  • Provides merchandise-related support to the fulfillment center and call center.
  • Supports integration of third-party drop ship suppliers.
  • Effectively communicates with other departments and codes within the organization.
  • Keeps abreast of online industry trends.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Works under the general supervision of designated supervisor. Operates within the established Navy Exchange policies, procedures, and regulations. Exercises judgment and develops approach in routine and unusual matters.
