About The Position

Borden Dairy is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service assigned customer accounts, communicate sales promotions and merchandising updates, and maintain product displays and placement. The role includes executing plan-o-grams, stocking and rotating products, cleaning refrigerated sections, rearranging shelves, and reporting merchandising opportunities. It also involves store surveys, market analyses, and extensive driving to service the assigned customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of field merchandising experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write, communicate, and perform required tasks in English.
• Strong attention to detail and conscientious work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize, self-motivate, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, fine hand manipulation, and kneeling.
• Extensive driving required to service the assigned customer base.

Responsibilities

• Call on assigned accounts to communicate sales promotions and merchandising updates.
• Execute plan-o-grams by stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating products.
• Rearrange shelving, clean refrigerated sections, and restock shelves as needed.
• Ensure product displays are professional, appealing, and properly signed.
• Reset displays and report product or merchandising issues and opportunities.
• Negotiate for additional shelf and promotional space.
• Conduct store surveys and market analyses to understand customer behavior and optimize product placement.
• Capture display conditions upon arrival to identify sales-growth opportunities.
