About The Position

The Merchandiser calls on assigned accounts to communicate sales promotions and merchandising updates, execute plan-o-grams, and maintain product presentation and availability. The role involves restocking and arranging shelves, cleaning refrigerated sections, resetting displays, negotiating for additional shelf and promotional space, and reporting merchandising issues and opportunities. The Merchandiser also conducts store surveys and market analyses and captures display conditions to identify sales-growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• At least 3 years of field merchandising experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write, communicate, and perform required tasks in English.
• Strong attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize, self-motivate, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute plan-o-grams by stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating products.
• Rearrange shelving, clean refrigerated sections, and restock shelves as needed.
• Ensure product displays are professional, appealing, and properly signed.
• Reset displays and report product or merchandising issues and opportunities.
• Negotiate for additional shelf and promotional space.
• Conduct store surveys and market analyses to understand customer behavior and optimize product placement.
• Capture display conditions upon arrival to identify opportunities for sales growth.
