About The Position

The Merchandiser works independently in the Hallmark departments of assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role showcases organizational and time-management skills, builds relationships with retailers, and represents Hallmark. Merchandisers collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and inventory, support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, and may occasionally service products from other companies. The work includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, and maintaining professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers. Merchandisers are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at their assigned stores. Seasonal demand brings additional days and extended hours around major holidays, and the role may include holiday work. Merchandisers may also help build and install fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections, sometimes during evenings or weekends. This is a part-time position averaging 10–15 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Pay starts at $14.00–$16.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The position is physically demanding and involves work on sales floors and in back stockrooms.
