Part Time Merchandiser- Flexible Schedule
About The Position
This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, seeking a reliable and motivated Merchandiser to maintain greeting card rack displays for 2 retail stores within the Manassas, VA area. The role involves traveling to each store every other week to merchandise greeting card racks, rotate products, and set up/take down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams. The merchandiser will use mobile technology to perform job functions, take photos of completed displays, and complete surveys. Developing strong relationships with retail customers is also a key responsibility. Requirements
- Merchandising experience (in the gift industry preferred)
- Must be reliable, and willing to visit the store once every other week.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to read and understand English
- Access to transportation
- Use of small manual and powered hand tools
- Maintain a quick work pace with optimum time management to improve productivity
Responsibilities
- Traveling to each store location every other week.
- Merchandise Avanti greeting card racks.
- Rotate products from the backroom stock and out to the department.
- Setting up and taking down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams.
- Use mobile technology to perform required job functions during each store visit; photo of the completed display, complete a quick and simple survey following the store visit.
