About The Position

The Merchandiser I performs merchandising activities in retail accounts throughout the greater Northwest Indiana territory, including Hammond, Merrillville, Schererville, Crown Point, and Griffith. The role constructs displays, stocks Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits products as requested by sales teams or retail customers, and installs promotional point-of-sale materials to achieve display objectives. The Merchandiser also maintains positive relationships with retail customers and ensures company products are properly displayed.

Requirements

• One year of experience.
• Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Must be apprised of federal, state, and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within the assigned account responsibility.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Build displays and update pricing and special offers within an assigned territory.
• Maintain positive relationships with retail customers.
• Ensure all company products are properly displayed.
• Install point-of-sale materials as directed.
• Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
