About The Position
Designer Greetings is hiring a part-time merchandiser to service greeting card displays in local stores around Mayville, Wisconsin. This flexible side job involves managing an assigned set of stores on the merchandiser’s own schedule, with service visits and hours varying according to the route. The role is described as suitable for people seeking a few hours of work a month. The merchandiser must also be available after the holidays to change displays over to the new season. The hourly pay range is $15.00–$17.00, depending on experience. The company pays for mileage and travel time between stores when more than one location is assigned. Paid time off is provided.
Requirements
- Have a reliable smartphone for using the mobile app for ordering and payroll time entries.
- Be able to lift 40 pounds.
- Have access to reliable transportation, as most routes include multiple locations.
- Have access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
- Have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Be available after the holidays to change displays to the new season.
Responsibilities
- Straighten products on all greeting card racks.
- Put out product orders.
- Write up new orders.
- Put up and take down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams.
- Process seasonal card returns after the holiday.
- Service greeting card displays in assigned local stores.
