About The Position

Designer Greetings is hiring a part-time merchandiser to service greeting card displays in local stores in Panorama City, California, and the surrounding area. This flexible side job involves managing a set of stores on your own schedule and working a few hours a month. Service visits are flexible, but the merchandiser must also be available after holidays to change displays to the new season. The hourly pay range is $18.00–$20.00, depending on experience. The company pays for mileage and travel time and provides paid time off.

Requirements

• Reliable smartphone for using a mobile app to place orders and enter payroll time.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Access to reliable transportation, as most routes have multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Availability after holidays to change displays to the new season.

Responsibilities

• Straighten product on all card racks.
• Put out product orders.
• Write up new orders.
• Put up and take down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams.
• Process seasonal card returns after the holiday.
