About The Position

The Merchandiser displays and arranges beverage products on shelves, displays, and other areas to attract customers, while providing excellent customer service to store owners and customers and effectively resolving complaints or grievances. The role requires accuracy and the ability to work without direct supervision. The position is based in Silver City, New Mexico. The noise level is usually moderate, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. Must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or other ideas approved by management.
Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
Transfer products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with sell-by dates, maximize product in stores, and minimize stock-room inventory.
Order products for assigned accounts according to established procedures to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
Develop display ideas or follow suggestions or schedules from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicate daily with key store personnel about service or product needs.
Construct or assemble display aids using company-provided point-of-sale materials.
Wear the company-provided uniform and maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance.
Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
Provide customer service to store owners and customers and resolve complaints or grievances.
