About The Position

The Merchandiser displays and arranges beverage products on shelves, displays, and other areas to attract customers, while providing customer service to store owners and customers and resolving complaints or grievances. The role requires accuracy and the ability to work without direct supervision. The position is based in Silver City, New Mexico. The work environment is usually moderately noisy, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. Employees must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Provide excellent customer service to store owners and customers and effectively resolve complaints or grievances.

Responsibilities

Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or management-approved ideas.
Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
Transfer products from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with sell-by dates, maximize in-store product, and minimize stockroom inventory.
Order products for assigned accounts according to established procedures to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
Develop display ideas or follow suggestions or schedules from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicate daily with key store personnel about service or product needs.
Construct or assemble display aids using company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
Wear the company-provided uniform and maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance for customers and the marketplace.
Perform other duties assigned by an immediate supervisor or other supervisor.
