About The Position

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Merchandiser maintains and enhances the visibility of Morales Beverage Group products in retail accounts. The role includes stocking shelves, building displays, managing inventory, and supporting sales efforts so the company’s brands stand out.

The Merchandiser works with sales representatives and retail staff, maintains product and promotional displays, and ensures compliance with company standards, retailer agreements, and applicable alcohol laws. The position requires daily driving to customer accounts within assigned territories, travel among store locations, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

The role calls for professionalism, confidentiality, accountability, responsiveness, and strong working relationships with colleagues and retail partners. Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background and drug screening for hire and may be screened randomly during employment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong PC application skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to interact across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations as needed.
• Must be proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Valid and current Texas driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation.
• Driving record must remain within MVR policy guidelines throughout employment.
• Personal auto insurance must include minimum coverage of $100,000 for bodily injury, $300,000 for liability, and $50,000 for property damage.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to perform activities that may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail, sales, or merchandising (1–2 years preferred).
• Experience in the wine and spirits industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain shelves and displays in accordance with company standards and retailer agreements.
• Set up and maintain promotional displays, including proper signage and pricing.
• Rotate inventory to ensure product freshness and compliance with expiration dates.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and retail staff to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and promptly report shortages or restocking needs.
• Educate store staff about featured products and promotions to drive sales.
• Comply with local and federal alcohol laws and company policies.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, department leaders, executive leadership, and retail partners.
• Drive daily to customer accounts within assigned territories and travel to multiple store locations as needed.
