About The Position

The Merchandiser I performs merchandising activities, constructs displays, and stocks Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits products in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers. The role installs promotional point-of-sale materials to achieve display objectives and stocks products as needed. The position covers Tacoma and surrounding areas of Washington, and requires daily use of the employee’s own dependable vehicle. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday during the day, with flexibility required. This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates receiving a conditional offer must pass a drug test. The company describes the position as full-time and offers hourly pay of $19–$22, plus an auto allowance. Expected first-year earnings are $40,000–$48,000. New hires may receive a $500 sign-on bonus and a $500 retention bonus after six months. Requirements

At least one year of experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance on their vehicle in compliance with company requirements.
Dependable vehicle and flexibility required.
Must pass a drug test after receiving a conditional offer.

Responsibilities

Build displays and update pricing and special offers within an assigned territory.
Maintain positive relationships with retail customers.
Ensure all company products are properly displayed.
Install point-of-sale materials as directed.
Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
