As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores, representing Hallmark and maintaining the company’s product displays and inventory. You collaborate with store teams to improve product placement, maintain stock, and support other merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Stores may include grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers; on occasion, the role may involve products from other companies. The work has three main components: day-to-day engagement, holiday support, and department resets. Daily responsibilities include restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication, and interacting courteously with store employees, managers, and customers. Seasonal demand may bring additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays. Reset assignments may involve installing fixtures, relocating card departments or products, and resetting card sections, sometimes in the evening or on weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. This is a part-time position averaging 9–10 hours per week, with a variable work-week schedule. Availability before and after major holidays, including possible weekends, and for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
