As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, showcasing organization and time-management skills, building retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. You work with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support seasonal resets and installations. You may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The role covers day-to-day merchandising, holiday support, department resets, and collaboration with Hallmark’s field organization. You restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products, maintain the entire display at assigned stores, and use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication. Seasonal periods may require additional days or extended hours, and certain holidays may require work on the holiday itself. Reset assignments may involve evenings or weekends and typically come with two weeks’ notice. The position is part-time, with a variable workweek schedule averaging 9–10 hours per week. The starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. The job is physically demanding and involves working on sales floors and in back stockrooms. It requires frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of items up to 30 pounds and occasional handling of items up to 50 pounds, as well as kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and potentially climbing stairs and step ladders.
