As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. You may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role involves service work in Hallmark departments across grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark product inventory, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communications, and interacting professionally with store employees, managers, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. The work varies with seasonal demand. Holiday periods may bring additional workdays and extended hours, and work on certain holidays may be required. You may also help teams build and install fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. The position averages 15–16 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. This is physically demanding work on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It requires frequent handling of products and fixtures, as well as standing, walking, kneeling, and squatting throughout the workday. The position is part-time and pays $17.50–$19.50 per hour depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.
