Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role works independently while building relationships with store teams, maintaining product inventory and displays, and supporting seasonal resets and installations. Merchandisers may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores they service. The position averages 12–14 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. The work includes day-to-day product restocking and organization, monitoring inventory, communicating and reporting through a Hallmark-provided mobile device, and courteous interaction with store employees, managers, and customers. Seasonal demand may bring additional workdays and extended hours before and after holidays. Some holiday work, including weekends, may be required. Reset and installation assignments may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections; these assignments may take place in the evening or on weekends, with remodel assignments typically communicated two weeks in advance. The job is physically demanding and involves work on sales floors and in back stockrooms. It requires regularly pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and fixtures, along with kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and potentially climbing stairs or step ladders. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $16.90–$18.90 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
