About The Position

Franz Family Bakery is seeking part-time Merchandisers to maintain bakery products in store bread aisles. The role involves keeping products stocked and fresh, presenting shelves attractively, and maintaining a neat and orderly appearance. The position requires reliability, safe work practices, organization, and effective communication with people inside and outside the organization. The schedule is to be discussed at interview, and candidates must be available to work weekdays and weekends between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Requirements

Have a solid work history, including at least 1 year with previous employers.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver's license and current car insurance.
Possess a clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
Be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical, and physical capacity test.
Be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large, bulky racks of product.
Be highly organized and able to work at a fast pace.
Effectively communicate with individuals inside and outside the organization.
Have a proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive, and uphold Franz core values.
Have a positive, safe work ethic and be reliable.
Be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
Be available to work weekdays and weekends between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

Maintain adequate stocking of bakery products in store bread aisles.
Rotate outdated products to assure freshness.
Face grocery shelves so bakery items are presented in a pleasing manner to consumers.
Maintain a neat and orderly appearance for assigned bakery products.
Push and pull racks and handle trays and bakery products.
Use writing utensils.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
