About The Position

The Merchandise Team Lead is responsible for the Westchester Knicks merchandise stand at the Westchester County Center. The role focuses on merchandise display and sales, guest relations, and appropriate use and maintenance of facility equipment. On event nights, the Team Lead is responsible for the overall management of their location.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of retail experience in sports merchandising.
Ability to process information and merchandise using the current computer register system (POS).
Ability to communicate with employees and guests.
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the merchandise store or stand.
Ability to move or handle merchandise.
Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, split days off, weekends, and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily audits and monthly location inventory.
Ensure guests receive outstanding service and location staff adhere to Westchester Knicks standards.
Maintain a good understanding of products, services, systems, and practices.
Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance, and ensure locations are clean and well maintained.
Report maintenance or merchandise issues to management.
Process and replenish merchandise on the selling floor by participating in receiving and monitoring merchandise flow.
Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members, including following appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
