About The Position

The Part Time Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, safety, and labor standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; handles customer purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes merchandise for the sales floor; and participates in merchandising, store recovery, cleanliness, and shrink-reduction efforts. The associate also provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback and performs other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position at Marshalls Store 0597 in Lewisville, Texas. The starting pay range is USD $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment and uphold store recovery standards.
Adhere to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, safety, and labor standards.
Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization and cleanliness and participate in maintaining the entire store.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Perform other duties as assigned.
