About The Position

Legends Global Merchandise is seeking a Merchandise Associate for its Westgate location in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The role focuses on creating a positive, memorable game-day retail experience for University of Michigan fans through customer service, sales, merchandise presentation, and store upkeep. Associates help guests find products, recommend merchandise, maintain inventory and displays, and support the setup of event pop-up shops. They are expected to work collaboratively, pay attention to detail, and build product and event knowledge.

Requirements

Ability to perform the essential duties at the highest levels.
Ability to use point-of-sale systems accurately.
Ability to describe merchandise features and benefits and explain product use.
Ability to maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts.
Ability to read and implement plan-o-grams.

Responsibilities

Create an exciting, positive, and welcoming environment for the team and diverse fan base.
Greet guests, identify their interests, and make sales recommendations.
Use point-of-sale systems accurately.
Clean and restock merchandise and complete other tasks assigned by a supervisor.
Present merchandise and recommend add-on items to increase sales.
Describe merchandise features and benefits and explain how products are used.
Stay current on store, online, and event promotions and sales.
Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts, and assist with inventory.
Increase knowledge of products, facilities, and University of Michigan events.
Read and implement plan-o-grams.
Assist the store setup team with merchandising event pop-ups, including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, and cleaning shops and fixtures.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
