About The Position
Westin Kierland Golf Club, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Merchandise Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Requirements
- High School education or its equivalent
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping
- Computer skills with Point of Sales (POS) systems and Microsoft applications
- Ability to multi-task: answer phones, greet members, answer questions, sell and place special orders
Responsibilities
- Assists in managing the retail operation for the Golf Shop
- Monthly inventory count
- Greets guests upon arrival into the Golf Shop
- Prepare all merchandise for the floor
- Assists in creating/receiving Purchase Orders
- Assists in maintaining the golf shop cleaning standards
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Available to work weekends and holidays
