About The Position

The Merch Processor position is located in Olive Branch, Mississippi, in the Williams-Sonoma Distribution Center. The role is responsible for receiving merchandise, creating OS&D paperwork, identifying inner packs that are inconsistent with the DL, and communicating related information. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The processor verifies that SKU numbers on carton tags match the merchandise and loads jobs onto the computer using carton-tag information. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, completing assigned projects independently while contributing to a team, and communicating effectively with associates and management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Well-versed in Receiving Department procedures.
Exceptional communication skills and professionalism.
Exemplary working knowledge of PKMS.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, squat, and walk up and down.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the PZ area.
At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
Strong understanding of the DTC order fulfillment process.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise.
Create OS&D paperwork.
Identify inner packs that are not consistent with the DL and communicate about them.
Verify that the SKU number on the carton tag matches the merchandise.
Load the job onto the computer using information from the carton tag.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities.
Complete assigned projects independently and work well within a team environment.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with associates and management staff.
