Part time Merch Associate
About The Position
The Merch Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; helps maintain merchandising and recovery standards; processes merchandise for the sales floor; and supports store safety and shrink-reduction goals. The associate may also perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
