Part-time Merch Associate
About The Position
The Merch Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates promote a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. The position includes accurately ringing customer purchases and returns, counting change, promoting credit and loyalty programs, processing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining merchandising standards, and participating in store recovery and cleanliness. Associates support shrink-reduction and safety programs and follow applicable labor laws, company policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles.
- Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain merchandising standards and follow established merchandising procedures.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and participate in maintaining the entire store.
- Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
