Full-Time Merch Associate (GLAM)
About The Position
The Merch Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate models established customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, accurately processes purchases and returns, promotes credit and loyalty programs, and processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor. The role also participates in store recovery, cleanliness and organization, shrink-reduction efforts, and safety awareness. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
