About The Position

We are looking for an MEP Superintendent to join our Operations team on our project in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time, in-person position. The MEP Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in managing the coordination, installation, and quality of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems on complex, large-scale projects.

Requirements

10+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
Proven ability to manage complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, stadiums, or other special-use facilities.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including commissioning protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and advanced commissioning procedures.
Knowledge of safety programs and energy control requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all MEP activities from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Holder standards.
Provide direct supervision and guidance to MEP subcontractors and vendors, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, major equipment, lighting, fire alarm, security, building automation systems, CCTV, power distribution, and communications systems.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP systems, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project alignment.
Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC programs and support the Energy Control and Safety Program to uphold Holder’s zero-accident culture.
Manage punch lists, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive timely resolution of challenges using all available resources.
Oversee start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring all MEP systems meet performance and operational requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and clients while supervising subcontractors and vendors.
Lead workforce planning, logistics coordination, and resource allocation for MEP activities to support efficient project execution.
