About The Position
Pro Tech Mechanical is seeking an experienced MEP Service Dispatcher to support our HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical Service teams throughout South Texas. This role is responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians, managing service calls, coordinating preventative maintenance, communicating with customers, and maximizing technician utilization. The ideal candidate will have prior experience dispatching for a commercial HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, facilities services, or MEP contractor.
Requirements
- 3+ years of dispatching experience within HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Facilities Services, or MEP contracting.
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and customer service skills.
- Experience managing multiple technicians and service calls simultaneously.
- Proficient with dispatching and service management software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical Service Technicians.
- Manage daily service schedules, emergency calls, preventative maintenance, and quoted repair work.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling and service updates.
- Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and management.
- Monitor technician productivity and maintain an efficient dispatch board.
- Review completed work orders for accuracy and assist with service administration.
- Manage on-call schedules and support overall service operations.
