About The Position

STV is seeking a dynamic MEP Project Manager to join our Owner’s Project Management team in the Boston, MA office. Current projects include Healthcare, Life Science and Higher Education clients in Massachusetts. Acting on behalf of the owner, key responsibilities will include overseeing the design, engineering and construction of multiple infrastructure related projects on fully occupied campuses. This will include shut downs, tie-ins and quality control while having extensive interaction with multiple stakeholders throughout the project delivery cycle. Other responsibilities include managing the overall project budget, schedule and quality of the work as well running weekly OAC meetings and follow up activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience working on similar projects within the educational, institutional and life science environment.
  • Extensive MEP related experience.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes.
  • Familiarity with central plant operations.
  • Familiarity with construction means and methods.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Assisting, Supervising or mentoring team members and delivering timely feedback and recognition to others is preferred.
  • LEED AP, CPD, or PE certifications are preferred but not required.
