About The Position

Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with over 100 years of history, is seeking an MEP Inspector to support our team working at Los Angeles World Airports. This position has been created as part of our contract with Los Angeles World Airport. Position is responsible for inspecting the installation of electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring and ensure they comply with electrical codes and standards.

Requirements

3+ years' experience with Elevator and Escalator inspections including safety compliance, operational assessment, visual inspections, and functional testing.
Knowledge and experience with inspection of fire sprinkler systems.
Overtime during the week and weekends may be required.
Night shift is possible for a portion or all of the project.
Ability to write clear and effective reports and capable of working with Microsoft Office and other computer software and applications including Prolog & VEO.
The candidate will be required to pass a federal background check acquire a LAWA Badge.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience in plumbing installation including pumps, piping, ducts, equipment, controls, vaults and associated works both in building construction and underground piping.

Responsibilities

Inspection of rough and finish HVAC.
Review and approval monthly progress payment & as-built drawings from contractor required.
Elevator and Escalator inspections including safety compliance, operational assessment, visual inspections, and functional testing.
Plumbing installation including pumps, piping, ducts, equipment, controls, vaults and associated works both in building construction and underground piping.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to write clear and effective reports and capable of working with Microsoft Office and other computer software and applications including Prolog & VEO.
The candidate will be required to pass a federal background check acquire a LAWA Badge.
