About The Position

Under the close supervision of a licensed nurse, you will play an essential role in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on individual behaviors and conditions. To prepare for the responsibilities of this role, you will begin extended clinical orientation and training immediately following your first day of employment through Sheppard Pratt’s Clinical Education Department. Whether you’re seeking a full-time, part-time, or as-needed (PRN) position, we have flexible options including 8- and 12-hour shifts. We have opportunities at our Towson hospital campus across diverse inpatient units: Adolescent Female Crisis Stabilization Unit, Towson Adolescent Male Crisis Stabilization Unit, Towson Adolescent Mood Disorders Unit, Towson Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Unit, Towson Child Unit, Towson.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • For most positions, must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced degree in a human services field is strongly preferred, either in progress or already obtained.
  • Past direct care or related experience is strongly preferred.
