About The Position

The Joshua Center Programs at Natchaug Hospital provide specialized behavioral health services for children and adolescents ages 5-18 who are experiencing psychiatric or substance use challenges but do not require inpatient hospitalization. Services include comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment planning, family, group, and individual therapy, occupational and creative rehabilitation therapies, and aftercare planning and care coordination. To support participation in treatment, Natchaug Hospital provides transportation from school to the Joshua Center Program and then home following services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience required.
• Current driver's license with a clean driving record for at least three (3) consecutive years.
• Ability to obtain a Public Service License "A" Endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical examination, and applicable background checks.
• Basic computer skills
• Must maintain a reliable telephone number for scheduling and communication purposes.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe environment
• Daily case note documentation
• Providing transportation using company vehicles from school to the Joshua Center Program and from the program to the student's home
• Providing support at other Natchaug Hospital locations as operational needs require.
