About The Position

Affect is seeking an Ohio-licensed mental health professional to provide remote, digital-first mental health care. The role supports members experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and, at times, substance use disorders. Therapists use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach and work with Affect’s technology and multidisciplinary team to deliver accessible, high-quality care. The position is described as full-time, with remote work options and full-time or part-time schedules mentioned.

Requirements

Hold an active, verifiable Ohio license as an LSW, LISW, LIMFT, LPCC, LPC, or LMFT; licensure in the state of residence is also required if it is not Ohio. Credentials must be verified through the State Board’s website during the application process.
Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth settings.
Strong communication and clinical skills, with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach.
Comfort using electronic medical records, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with professionalism and integrity.
Have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet.

Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic assessments and collaboratively develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Provide individual psychotherapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms.
Support members with mental health needs including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, with flexibility to work with members with substance use disorders at times.
Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Coordinate care as needed and contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Participate in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations.
Adhere to HIPAA and applicable state licensure regulations.
