About The Position

Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient therapy program designed to meet the needs of individuals, typically age 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging. The Mental Health Therapist works with a small multidisciplinary team that includes a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator to provide services to the senior population. The program primarily uses group therapy and also offers individual sessions and family therapy as needed.

The therapist uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches, develops and updates personalized treatment plans with the team, and completes documentation in accordance with Medicare guidelines within designated timeframes. The role also includes assisting with local community education and other duties as assigned. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, and no on-call duties. Salary is up to $85,000 per year based on experience and licensure.

Requirements

• Hold a state-recognized license in Social Work or Counseling; examples include LISW, LCSW, LPC, and LMFT.
• Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for patients.
• Successfully complete a full background check; drug testing may also be required at times.

Responsibilities
