About The Position

Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient provides behavioral health services across Arkansas for children as young as age 5, teens, and adults. Services are offered in traditional clinic-based settings, as well as through therapy sessions in schools or homes. The organization is part of Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health System, which has more than 25 years of experience caring for children and adolescents and also provides care to adults. The Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient Therapist provides behavioral health modalities and develops specific treatment goals for a targeted client population. The therapist helps ensure high-quality, cost-effective care consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and applicable government regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.

Requirements

A master's degree or higher in a human services field from an accredited university; Social Work is preferred.
Current licensure as an LAC, LMFT, LPC, LPE-I, PLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of psychiatric treatment experience.
Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Arkansas laws governing services to children, adolescents, and adults.
Basic knowledge of educational, psychological, and social service systems related to special education and behavior treatment.

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral health modalities to a targeted client population.
Develop specific treatment goals for clients.
Help ensure delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care in accordance with UHS values and applicable regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
