About The Position

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join their Recovery Education Center (REC) Team in Waynesville, NC. This role involves providing outpatient mental health treatment and services to patients in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include interacting with provider agencies and referral sources, participating in team meetings, and offering education and support to the community. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for newly hired therapists, depending on the chosen service agreement (1, 2, or 3 years). This role requires flexibility to transport clients/patients to services or resources that address their basic and clinical needs. Drivers must be 21 or older and possess appropriate insurance if using personal vehicles.

Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
  • Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
  • Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work
  • Excellent listening and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years clinical work experience preferred
  • LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

  • Providing outpatient mental health treatment/service to patients in the clinic setting.
