About The Position

The incumbent is accountable for the provision of direct concurrent mental health and addictions services to adults and their families. These services include case management, individual and group counselling and public educations/consultation in the area of mental health and addictions. The incumbent shall apply recovery principles and function within practices of Mental Health and Addictions program management model.

Requirements

2 years working experience in community mental health and addictions services
Knowledge of Sask Model of Recovery Services and motivational assessment process
Above avg. clinical assessment, case planning, consultation & supervision skills
Knowledge in Developmental Model of Recovery
Ability to be self-directed, creative, collaborative and to have sound judgement
Knowledge of how addictions impacts the individual, community and families
Ability to facilitate educational and skill development groups
Work co-operatively/effectively with other staff members/external partners
Knowledge in Mental Health and Addictions
Ability to travel when required
Ability and willingness work evenings/weekends as required
Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
