About The Position
Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist to be part of our School Based Health Behavioral Health Team. The Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for providing outpatient mental health treatment/service to patients in the School health clinic setting. The position requires interaction with provider agencies and referral sources, participating in team meetings when appropriate and as requested, and offering education and support to the community.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
- Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
- Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work
- Excellent listening and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- 2 years clinical work experience preferred
- LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
- Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
- Bilingual a plus
