Mental Health Therapist Licensed LPC MHSP or LCSW
About The Position
This role is for the clinician who wants more than a waiting room. At Chadash, we work with the people who hold the line for everyone else — first responders, military personnel, medical workers, dispatchers, corrections officers, and fellow clinicians. We call them Helpers. They are tough, stoic, often the last ones to ask for help, and deeply rewarding to work with when you're the clinician who knows how to meet them there. If that excites you rather than intimidates you, keep reading. What makes Chadash different: We are a faith-informed, trauma-specialized practice located on a working farm in Ashland City, Tennessee. Our cottage-style facility offers in-person sessions in a genuinely peaceful, nature-rich setting — not a sterile office park. We believe healing happens in the body and the land, not just the therapy hour. We are actively building toward an equine-assisted therapy program — and the clinician who joins us now will be part of shaping what that becomes.
Requirements
- Active Tennessee licensure as LPC-MHSP or LCSW (fully licensed; no pre-licensed applicants at this time)
- Master's or doctoral degree from a CACREP-accredited program (or equivalent for LCSW)
- Genuine interest in working with high-stress, high-functioning populations
- Strong trauma competency — PTSD, C-PTSD, moral injury, grief, anxiety, burnout
- Compassionate and direct — Helpers need both
- Background check required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with first responders, military, or medical populations is a plus but not required — we will train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload of 15–25 clients (individuals, couples, and families, ages 16+)
- Deliver sessions in-person at our farm location and/or via telehealth across Tennessee
- Collaborate closely with a small, mission-aligned clinical team
- Participate in monthly trainings and ongoing professional development
