Mental Health Technician - Day Shift
About The Position
Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. Our 120-bed facility provides specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and co-occurring addictions. Our MHTs work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide clerical and patient care activities in the treatment and care of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. MHTs manage behavioral problems, facilitate education and activity groups, and are active participants of the treatment team.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or ability to obtain
