About The Position
Mental Health Technician I - PRN/Relief Staff The Relief Mental Health Tech will work on a part time, PRN schedule. Relief Staff may cross train in our residential and day treatment programs. Shift times vary based on program needs Base Pay: $13.00/hr $2 Shift Differentials & Holiday Premiums Available
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be 21 years or older, good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Various patient care activities- i.e., meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with laundry
- Ensure the efficient operation of the facility
- Teaching group and individual basic living skills
- Providing transportation for consumers using system vehicle when required by the program
- Assisting consumers with medication under the MAC certification, supervised by the MAS nurse
- Performing required documentation in an electronic record system
